Dr. Abigail Kyei has always been passionate about Public Health. As one of the first degree nurses from the University of Ghana, she practiced for a few years, before venturing into public health, which she studied at the San Diego State University. She then went on to work with organizations such as DANIDA, JHPIEGO and ICM. She currently works as the Head of Department of the Nursing School of the Pentecost University, and is the President of the Ghana College of Nurses and Midwives. She is married to Prof. Peter Ohene Kyei, and they have 5 adult children, and 5 grandchildren.
